Kent County People's Pledge

Across Kent County, we deserve the freedom to thrive and make a great life for ourselves and our families. We care for our neighbors, look out for each other, and believe in respecting and embracing people no matter our ZIP code, what language we speak, or how much money we make. We need government that works for us, that cares about our whole lives - from putting food on the table, to seeing our kids grow up happy, to having clean air to breathe, and safe places to live.

But a small group of politicians and the corrupt CEOs that are backing them are using fear to push a harmful agenda, so they can divide us and pick and choose who counts in our communities – restricting our freedom to learn, freedom to be ourselves, and freedom to earn a good living.

Let’s be clear – our contract is to one another. And, when we come together from our farmlands, to city centers, to small businesses, showing up at commission meetings, school board meetings and the ballot box, government must show up for us, just like we show up for one another. We demand a government that will rewrite the rules, investing our tax dollars into social services, so that all of us can lead long and happy lives in the county we call home - with the education and healthcare, housing and jobs that every family needs to thrive.

Join us in securing our freedom to thrive and live whole lives by signing the Kent County People’s Pledge!

Take the Pledge by filling out the form:
